Deposit and costs
A tenant will be required to pay a holding fee on the chosen property whilst the reference checks are carried out.
The tenant will be required to pay a deposit on the property equivalent to one month’s rent, unless stated so, and one month’s advance in cleared funds prior to the collection of keys.
What you need to remember
When you find a property you like, you will need to be ready to provide references and a deposit.
You then need to concentrate on the move itself getting in touch with utility providers to arrange your gas and electric connection.
